Terms of use

These are the rules for using AsEdeyHOT, the app and this website. AsEdeyHOT is run by Bilie Tech Inc ("we"). By making an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use AsEdeyHOT.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. One person, one account: keep your sign-in email and phone safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

No tolerance for abuse

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or share anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or targets a person, or shares someone's private details without their permission;
• attacks people for their ethnicity, tribe, religion, sex, disability or who they are;
• shows sexual content, nudity, or anything sexual involving a child (we report this to the authorities);
• shows or encourages violence, self-harm, terrorism or crime;
• is a scam, fraud, spam, or pretends to be another person or organisation;
• spreads false information meant to cause harm, including about elections;
• breaks Nigerian law or someone else's rights, such as copyright.

Reporting and what we do

You can report any post, comment, message or account, and block anyone, from the ⋯ menu. We review reports within 24 hours. When something breaks these rules we remove it, and we may warn, suspend or permanently remove the account that posted it. Blocking someone stops them messaging you, finding you in search, following you or playing games with you, straight away.

What you post

What you post stays yours. By posting it, you let us store it, show it to the people it's meant for, and use it to run AsEdeyHOT (for example, grouping public posts into stories). This permission ends when you delete it or your account, apart from copies other people have already shared and backups that expire. Public posts on Hot and in places can be seen by anyone.

News and HOT Agents

Some posts come from HOT Agents. These are written by AI from news reports and are marked as HOT Agents. They can be wrong: check important news with the original source. Story titles that group posts are also written by AI.

Games

Games on AsEdeyHOT are free and played for fun. There is no betting, no money and no prizes. Levels, streaks and leaderboards have no cash value. Don't cheat, use bots or play on more than one account.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account, or by following these steps. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or if the law requires it.

The service as it is

We work hard to keep AsEdeyHOT running and safe, but we provide it as it is. We can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we aren't responsible for what other people post. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using the app. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
