Child safety standards

AsEdeyHOT has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualisation of minors. This applies to posts, comments, photos, profiles, messages and group chats.

What we do

• AsEdeyHOT is for people aged 18 and over.
• Photos served by AsEdeyHOT are scanned for known child sexual abuse material.
• Anyone can report a post, comment, message or account in the app. Reports go to our moderators, who act on child safety reports first.
• We remove CSAE content, ban the accounts involved, and keep the evidence the law requires.
• We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities, including the Nigeria Police Force, as the law requires.
• We cooperate with law enforcement requests about child safety.

How to report

In the app, open the post, comment, message or profile, and choose Report. You can also email [email protected]. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first.
